Susie Kahlich is the founder of Pretty Deadly Self Defense and a certified martial arts instructor. Pretty Deadly is a self defense system she developed based on her experience as a violent crime survivor, trauma researcher and 20+ years' practitioner in the martial arts. Susie's fields of study include an extensive focus on the psychology and practice of intent, manipulation and grooming behaviors, their relationship to broader patriarchal norms and the threat of exclusion as a tool of coercion and oppression.
